Maison Grossoleil is a beautifully renovated 18th century (1767) farmhouse, which from the top of a hill offers panoramic views of the valley.

The house has 5 spacious bedrooms each with double bed, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen with cooking island and a very spacious, beautifully decorated living room with fireplace that combines the authenticity and character of the house with a trendy furniture.

The stone walls are so thick that they provide a natural air conditioning even in a very hot summer.

The living room gives direct access to a huge terrace (+200m²) with lounge area, BBQ and a large pool (13m by 6m) with complete privacy, a shaded area (50m²) and did we mention it already…  The unforgettable view of the valley.

The weather

In terms of nature, it is a hilly area with vast fields, vineyards and forests. In the summer, the sunflowers are bloom, the skies are clear blue and it is pleasantly warm. In the months of July and August, the average temperature in the Dordogne is 28 degrees. The weather in the Dordogne is best described as ‘French heat’. That means not too sticky, but pleasantly hot.
